Gain a deeper understanding of both individual news sources and tools for evaluating those news sources. With this knowledge, you will increase your ability to wisely evaluate and select news sources for your own personal news consumption and academic work.

Through this workshop you will be able to identity reputable newspapers, spot sponsored and syndicated content in news sites, and use web resources (AllSides, MediaBiasFactCheck) that provide information about the bias and factual accuracy of newspaper sources.
