The Royal Society of Chemistry recently launched the Gold for Gold initiative to encourage faculty who publish in RSC journals to make their articles open access. This program offers voucher codes that enable Merced researchers to publish their paper in RSC journals free of charge without paying the normal open access article publication fees.
 
Publishing open access makes your work easier to find, read and disseminate. We hope faculty will consider taking advantage of this opportunity. Voucher codes are available on a first-come first-served basis and must be used before 12/31/13.
