Course Resources

The Course Resources service allows faculty to place course-related materials in the library for a 2 hour loan or electronically through CatCourses.

Supplemental Course Resources

Supplemental Course Resources (SCR) makes additional course materials of your choice available to your students through CatCourses.

  • The library digitizes the materials, and posts them to CatCourses.
  • All items posted by the library will be removed at the end of each semester.

If you are in possession of the items to be digitized, please bring the materials to the Services Desk on the second floor, or deliver them via campus mail (please send to Kolligian Library, Attn: SCR). If you are not in possession of the items that you need digitized, we can assist in obtaining them via Interlibrary Loan. Please note that this will add additional processing time to your request.

For more information, please see the SCR FAQs.

Course Resources Program

The Course Resources Program (CRP) makes complete books and print works available to students for a 2 hour, library use only loan. CRP items can be checked-out at the Services Desk on the second floor. Items not returned on time accrue an overdue fee of $1/minute.

  • Textbooks and consumables (workbooks) are not eligible.
  • Instructors may provide personal materials if the Library does not own a text in either ebook or print format.
  • Audio Visual materials will be made available for viewing in the AV Room, KL361.

Requests will be processed within 3 business days. Please allow additional processing time to recall (1-2 weeks) or purchase materials (4-6 weeks).

Submit your Request

  • Online submissions can be made here. Please attach your course syllabus.
  • For campus mail, or in-person requests, please use this printable Request Form.
  • Please note that copyright laws prohibit us from digitizing large portions of books, textbooks and other materials. If SCR requests exceed copyright laws, SCR and CRP will work together to recommend an alternate solution.
