Data Management Plans and Research Data Curation

Wed, May 23, 2018 9:00 AM

Preparing a data management plan is not only a requirement for many funding agencies but also encourages successful handling of collected data across a project’s lifecycle and beyond. This workshop will cover everything that goes into preparing a well-formed data management plan, and will also include an overview of using the DMPTool, a service provided by the California Digital Library.

Following best practices for managing your research data can ensure it will be available to other researchers in the long term. Come learn how the Library can help you with research data best practices and metadata creation, data sharing, data archiving, and using the data services provided by the California Digital Library.
