Library Rooms and Reservations

Library spaces are intended for use by UC Merced students, faculty and staff. Both Collaborative Work Rooms (CWRs) and Meeting Rooms may be booked online. Collaborative Work Rooms are available for up to two hours a day. Meeting rooms and Lantern spaces (KL155 and 355) are pending approval following the online submission.

In recognition of the limited study space on campus and the importance of library spaces for studying and collaboration, large events are not scheduled in the Library during weekday daytime hours, final exam preparation, or final exams.

Please note that effective June 1, 2008, multi-purpose rooms KL 209 and KL 217 are no longer administered by the Library. The rooms are now designated as classroom spaces and are administered by the Office of the Registrar.
