Thank you for your interest in joining the Library Diversity Committee.
Committee Member Expectations/Commitment
- Members will commit to a one-year term with the opportunity to continue serving on the Committee. The Diversity Committee year coincides with the fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
- Attend monthly Committee meetings.
- Engage in work as needed to accomplish Committee goals and priorities. Expect to commit up to 5-10 hours per month.
- Participate in Committee sponsored events and trainings as possible.
Committee Composition
- Two Co-Chairs: one Library Staff Member and one Librarian
- Secretary: Library Staff Member or Librarian
- Members: two Library Staff Members and one Librarian (if Secretary is a Librarian, the remaining membership will consist of three Library Staff Members)
Committee Selection
- Representatives are selected through a review of applications. Applications will be vetted by the current Committee, with a slate of applicants put to the Library Staff for final selection.
