Abrescy-Kranich Research Award Reception (2025) recognizes Manesh and Muñoz

The Library hosted a reception for the 2024-2025 Abrescy-Kranich Library Research Award on Friday, March 21 to recognize the accomplishments of undergraduate awardees Maya Manesh and Diana Muñoz. This years’ winner were Diana Muñoz, a second-year Computer Science and Engineering major, and Maya Manesh, who will graduate spring 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.

Taylor & Francis Open Access Agreement

Effective January 1, 2024, the University of California (UC) and Taylor & Francis entered into an agreement that provides financial support to UC corresponding authors who publish open access in Taylor & Francis journals. Authors at all ten UC campuses and the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) are eligible for this support.

The UC libraries will cover open access publishing fees, also known as article processing charges (APCs), in full for UC corresponding authors who publish open access in Taylor & Francis journals.
