Help keep the doors of the Merced Multicultural Arts Center open!
You are invited to glaze a tile which will be permanently installed on the risers of the steps inside the art gallery of the Multicultural Arts Center (MCAC).The Library will host 2 tile-glazing workshops on Sunday, February 3. The workshops will be conducted by local artist Monika Modest (Tree of Life tile mural in Bob Hart Square, and the Faces of Merced tile murals at the G Street underpass). Participants are asked to make a $30 tax-deductible contribution. All proceeds will benefit MCAC and make it possible to offer high-quality programs and services to the people of Merced.
Two workshops are scheduled:
1:30 - 3 PM
3:30 - 5 PM

You do not have to be artistic to participate. You will get all the help and inspiration to successfully create an image you are pleased with. Suggested minimum age is 5 years with no upper limit.
Refreshments will be provided by the Library.
