As of July 26th, ProQuest will roll out redesigned basic search and search results pages. These improvements will put a focus on source types to help retrieve more relevant results from across the platform.
Some of these improvements will include:
A new horizontal source type limiter above the basic search box to help users limit their results to the content types most relevant to their research.
Help panels to provide search guidance at the point of the most need.
“You are searching…” statements to show which databases are being searched along with the top source types contained within those databases.
