The UC Merced Library has recently acquired trial access to SCOPUS, a popular abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature which features smart tools to track, analyze and visualize research. Content covers research output in the fields of technology, medicine, social sciences, arts, and humanities.

- Indexes 20,000 peer-reviewed journals, 390 trade publications, and 370 book series
- Includes 5.5 million conference papers
- 20 million records, including references, going back to 1995
- 21 million pre-1996 records going back as far as 1823
- Cross-searches 25.2 million patents
Trial access to SCOPUS ends on December 31, 2015.
