Request an Instruction Session (Writing 10 & Upper-Division Writing)

For fall 2022, we are modifying our library instruction approach and offerings for Writing 10 and upper-division writing classes.

Our goal is to engage students more deeply with information literacy topics through pre-activities and in-person library sessions that involve team problem-solving and facilitated conversation.

You will be asked to select one or two topics for your students and have them complete associated pre-activities prior to the in-person library session. Any remaining class time can be used for students to find information for their own research questions.

Pre-activities are available on our library guides or in the Canvas Commons for import into your CatCourses sites. Explore topic offerings and student pre-activities by visiting the links below.
