The California Digital Library (CDL) has secured expanded access to the JoVE Video Journal for all UC faculty, instructors, students, researchers, clinicians and staff. JoVE includes over 11,000 videos in disciplines such as biology, chemistry, engineering, medicine, physics and psychology, and JoVE videos can be viewed on their site or embedded into learning management systems.

Please join us for an author talk featuring Assistant Professor of Public Health, Dr. Sidra Goldman-Mellor. Dr. Goldman-Mellor will discuss her most recent article, "Association of Suicide and Other Mortality with Emergency Department Presentation"- published in JAMA Network Open. This article focuses on the data Dr. Goldman-Mellor collected, statewide, from California residents to examine the effects of emergency department presentation and the association with suicide or other mortality. Dr. Goldman-Mellor's research suggests that the increased risk may call for more interventions and patient support. Dr. Goldman-Mellor's article has also been featured in a recent news article published in MD Magazine.
