Christopher Caskey joins the UC Merced Library staff this spring and summer as the UC Merced Oral Histories Project Coordinator. With support from Chancellor Juan Sánchez Muñoz, the Library is conducting a pilot project to record and preserve the stories of those who have contributed to the founding of UC Merced.

Join our virtual information session on February 23, 2026 from 12:00–1:00 PM for an overview of the GIS software available to campus, data access options, licensing information, and training support. The session is intended to help students, faculty, and researchers understand how to access and use geospatial tools for research, projects, and coursework.
