Abrescy-Kranich Research Award Reception (2025) recognizes Manesh and Muñoz April 7, 2025 The Library hosted a reception for the 2024-2025 Abrescy-Kranich Library Research Award on Friday, March 21 to recognize the accomplishments of undergraduate awardees Maya Manesh and Diana Muñoz. This years’ winner were Diana Muñoz, a second-year Computer Science and Engineering major, and Maya Manesh, who will graduate spring 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. |

21 Year Work Anniversary: Emily Lin August 13, 2024 Emily Lin joined UC Merced July 1, 2003 after completing a Masters’ in Library & Information Science (LIS) at Drexel University. While she joined UC Merced to digitize collections from the Clark Center for Japanese Art and Culture in Hanford, she was deeply involved in establishing UC Merced Library services and infrastructure as one of the founding librarians. |
